Hunting for new worlds, in search of Earth 2.0

Hunting for new worlds, in search of Earth 2.0
Finding a planet outside our Solar System is so difficult that we succeeded for the first time just thirty years ago. Thanks to the progress of technology, in this short period of time almost 7500 have been discovered, and we are pursuing the even more ambitious goal of studying their atmospheres with the aspiration of finding a “twin” of the Earth. The President of the National Institute of Astrophysics and the Director of the Turin Astrophysical Observatory will guide us on a fascinating journey to other worlds.
