“Time Machines” provides a series of educational workshops for family to explore and discover the beauty of the Cosmos.
All the educational and inclusive activities of the exhibition are carried out in collaboration with OAE – Italy.
RISING STARS
Readings and workshops for girls and boys aged 3 to 6
Dates: Sunday 3 December, 14 Jenuary, 11 and 25 Frebruary e 24 March, 11.00 a.m.
Constellations, galaxies and heavenly bodies, constantly expanding and changing, tell stories and conjure up atmospheres that take shape on Earth to travel beyond the confines of the Universe. An immersive layout accompanies the young and the less young alike around the stars at the speed of light.

A spellbinding experience leaving Planet Earth behind to discover the planets of our Solar System and the variety of the cosmos – from Galileo Galilei’s first telescope to the most sophisticated, leading-edge technologies that allow us to travel back in time and to observe, listen to, and even touch the Universe.

GALAXY LAB
Visit to the exhibition and workshops for boys and girls aged 7 to 11 by INAF

Have you ever been told stories about the galaxies? Do you really know what they’re made of, how many of them there are and how far away they are from us?
INAF researchers reveal all, illustrating their talk with images from the super new Euclid and James Webb Space Telescopes.
After gleaning their secrets and finding out all about the ingredients that go to make up the billions of galaxies in our marvellous Universe, we’ll try building them together.

LIGHT IN A BOX
Visit to the exhibition and workshops for boys and girls aged 7 to 11 by INAF
Dates: Sunday 7 January, 11:00 a.m.
We’ll be exploring light, shadows and colours, building stories in movement, using everyday items, coloured plastic, wire, cardboard offcuts and a light bulb or two to devise moving scenes with light and shadow. At the end of the activity, the moving creations will all be set alongside one another to build a collective installation lit up by the product of each individual experiment.

SALT PLANETS

Discover the planets in the solar system and the space missions that have studied them. Become an astronaut, observe the solar system from close up with a planet simulator called “Planets in a Room” and build your own salt planet to take home with you!
